Bhopal: Poisoned lives, India
Bhopal, India, 2004.

Twenty years after one of the worst industrial disasters in history, the after effects of the explosion live on in its survivors. As the chemical factory was never dismantled, toxic materials continue to contaminate the food chain and water supply, causing illness and deformity in generation after generation.

The Khan family lives in the slums of J.P. Nagar. Majeed and Rehana have three boys who all suffer from chronic headaches, stomach aches, and constant fatigue. Hafeez has been diagnosed with a serious pulmonary condition. Ruksana, the only girl, seldom smiles. Twenty years later, Majeed agreed to revisit the abandoned factory and guide Viola on a trip through Hell.
